BusinessObjects Data Services Consultants
We are constantly recruiting Business Objects Data Services Consultants
We are looking for a Business Objects consultant who has excellent experience of Business Objects Data Services (BODS) or Data Integrator (BODI).
The successful candidate will need to be able to support the integration of SAP Business Objects onto the Back End SAP BW system using BODS.
Thus, knowledge and experience of working within an SAP environment would be extremely advantageous.
Essential Skills:
- BODI/BODS development experience Knowledge of SAP Environment and how it is used to source data
- Strong ETL skills like Informatica and DataStage
- Integration experience in an SAP environment
Junior BI Consultants
Overview
DataMotive is constantly looking to recruit Junior BI Consultants looking to start a career in SAP BusinessObjects.
Responsibilities
You will have a number of responsibilities that will evolve together with your growth in the company; however the following tasks will form the main part of your role:
- Show good technical skills in their main area of expertise and pick up new areas quickly.
- Be able to follow other people’s instructions while completing technical work
- Quickly understand what is required when presented with a technical problem and begin to contribute to solutions.
- Take responsibility for managing your own time and recording this.
- Pro‐actively raise issues and status concerns in advance.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both on the phone and via email, know what type of communication is most appropriate to use.
- Be able to follow processes.
- Produce appropriate documentation.
- Ownership – see problems through to completion with help if necessary. If they are handed over make sure that it’s done properly.

- Self evident interest in IT, deep desire to learn more about SAP BusinessObjects.
- Demonstrable technical skills and / or aptitude / attitude.
- Clear sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Observant, insightful and eager to contribute.
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Motivated, ambitious and determined.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and build a solid understanding of the business.
- Highly committed, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy are essential.
- Must be articulate and highly literate in the English language.
- Maintain a professional approach to work.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
ETL Consultants (AB Initio - Informatica - ...)
Several technical Ab Initio and Informatica Consultants required by leading data management consultancy. The roles are customer-facing, working on projects throughout the country, responsible for a mixture of analysis, design and development work.
Candidates must have excellent hands-on technical skills in Ab Initio and Informatica PowerCenter or another market leading ETL or Data Integration Tool, prferably along with Oracle or SQL Server RDBMS. UNIX skills are a plus. Candidates must be skilled in ETL design, with good exposure to data warehousing design principles.

• You are responsible for choosing the appropriate multivariate and data mining techniques.
• Generate impactful insights by out-of-the-box thinking.
• Visualize findings in self-explaining graphs.
• Share knowledge within the team.
Requirements• University degree with exceptional statistical knowledge. Master in statistics, or equivalent by experience, is a plus.
• The ideal candidate has extensive experience with at least one statistical package (R, SPSS, SAS, RapidMiner, Statistica, ...).
• First-rate analytical mindset, without losing the functional client perspective.
• Experience with psychometrics and/or web mining are a plus.
• Positive attitude and being eager to learn.
